Over the course of three weeks, your dog will stay with us in a safe, controlled environment, receiving daily hands-on training, socialization, and guided experiences to ensure dependable behavior both on and off leash.

Program Details:

Week 1: Foundation & On-Leash Control

• Assessment & Goal Setting: We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of your dog’s behavior, temperament, and current obedience level. Based on your goals, we create a customized training plan to set your dog up for success.

• Core Obedience Commands: Introduction and reinforcement of the 7 essential commands: sit, down, come, heel, place, break, and no. These commands establish clear communication and structure.

• Leash Manners & Engagement: Your dog will learn proper leash walking, focus, and responsiveness, eliminating pulling and distractions while building engagement with the handler.

• Introduction to E-Collar: We properly condition your dog to the e-collar, ensuring they understand it as a communication tool- not a punishment - laying the groundwork for off-leash reliability.

• House Manners & Structure: We reinforce calm behavior indoors, including crate training, boundaries, and overall impulse control.

Week 2: Off-Leash Transition & Behavior Reliability

• Off-Leash Foundations: We begin transitioning commands to off-leash using the e-collar, ensuring your dog understands and responds consistently at a distance.

• Recall Mastery: A strong, reliable come command is developed - even around distractions - so your dog returns to you confidently every time.

• Greeting & People Manners: Your dog will learn polite behavior around people, including no jumping, controlled greetings, and calm social interactions.

• Distraction Training: We introduce controlled distractions (dogs, people, environments) to proof obedience and build reliability under real-world pressure.

• Confidence Building: Exercises are designed to increase your dog’s confidence, helping them remain calm, focused, and responsive in new situations.

Week 3: Real-World Application & Advanced Off-Leash Control

• Advanced Off-Leash Obedience: Commands are refined and enforced in high-distraction environments, ensuring your dog responds reliably without a leash.

• Public Training & Field Trips: Your dog will train in real-world settings such as parks, sidewalks, and pet-friendly locations to generalize obedience beyond the training environment.

• Duration, Distance & Distraction Proofing: We increase the difficulty of commands by adding longer durations, greater distances, and higher-level distractions.

• Behavioral Polishing: Any remaining issues - such as reactivity, overexcitement, or lack of impulse control - are addressed and refined.

• Owner Education & Transition Session: At the end of the program, you’ll receive a hands-on training session where we teach you how to properly use the e-collar, maintain obedience, and confidently handle your dog off-leash.
