What to expect during the stay.
Board & Train updates are generally provided approximately every three days, excluding weekends and major holidays.
Every dog progresses differently. Training is adjusted around your dog’s temperament, behavior, existing skills, and goals.
Your dog’s final-day owner turnover is approximately one hour so we can review the training and help you continue it at home.
Before your dog’s stay.
How much food should I bring?
Please bring at least two weeks of your dog’s current food. If your dog follows a specific feeding schedule, include written instructions so we can follow it consistently.
What if my dog takes medication?
Please provide the medication along with clear instructions that include the medication name, dose, and schedule.
How often will I receive updates?
Updates are generally provided approximately every three days, excluding weekends and major holidays. Daily updates are not guaranteed.
What happens when my dog comes home?
Your Board & Train includes an owner handoff at the end of the program. Plan for approximately one hour so your trainer can review what your dog learned and show you how to continue the work at home.
Should I bring toys, bedding, or other belongings?
If you are unsure whether a particular item is appropriate to bring, contact your Cosmo K9 trainer before your dog’s arrival.
